For this beginning-of-the-year unit students were challenged to apply the scientific method to a variety of situations, both in the lab and in real life situations. Moreover, this unit represents many of the students first exposure to the Apple "Pages" word processing software. Brochures were created using the "Landscape Brochure" template before they converted them into PDFs to be loaded here for your enjoyment.
It's called the "Lens of Science" project because one of objectives was to begin the process of helping students to start to learn to problem solve using an approach (the scientific method) that employed less opinion and more objectivity, less bias and more impartiality.
